Often mistaken for Marble, Quartzite offers the best of both worlds: the refined, veined beauty of natural stone with the hardness and durability of Quartz. A favourite among designers for its dramatic movement and naturally cool surface, it elevates any space with effortless grandeur.
Quartzite is a designer favourite for kitchen countertops, dramatic feature walls, bathroom vanities, and fireplace surrounds. Its striking veining and cool, hard surface lend it a visual quality similar to marble, but with the durability required for surfaces that need to perform as beautifully as they look.
While Quartzite is harder than marble, it still requires thoughtful care. Use only pH-neutral stone cleaners and soft cloths. Avoid acidic cleaners — particularly on lighter varieties, which can be sensitive to etching. Clean up spills promptly, especially red wine, oils, and acidic beverages. Do not use general-purpose household cleaners not formulated for natural stone.
Quartzite is porous and must be sealed before use and resealed annually. The frequency may vary depending on the specific variety — some Quartzite is denser and more resistant than others.
