Engineered Quartz performs exceptionally well in kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, laundry surfaces, wall cladding, and commercial fitouts. Its consistent colouring and non-porous surface make it one of the most practical choices for any surface that sees daily use and requires reliable performance alongside refined aesthetics.
Quartz is one of the easiest natural-look surfaces to care for. Wipe down with warm water and a mild household cleaner. Avoid bleach-based products and highly abrasive cleaners. For stubborn marks, a glass cleaner or a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on a soft cloth is effective. No sealing is required.
Quartz requires minimal ongoing maintenance compared to natural stone. It does not need to be sealed, polished, or conditioned. However, it is not impervious to heat — always use trivets, as sudden thermal shock can cause cracking. Avoid cutting directly on the surface to preserve its finish. Should chips or cracks occur, professional repair is recommended.
Engineered Quartz is composed of approximately 90–95% crushed natural quartz bound with polymer resins and pigments. The result is a surface that is harder, less porous, and more uniform than many natural stones. It will not harbour bacteria, is highly stain-resistant, and requires no sealing — making it a leading choice for busy households and commercial environments. Note that it is not recommended for outdoor use in direct sunlight, as UV exposure can cause discolouration over time.
